Cross Nascar with OZ V8's and that's what you get with the Ascar's running in the VSR V8 Trophy, Nascar styled cars with 5.7ltr of chevrolet power on circuits in the UK.

Running on circuits we have exceeded expectations and proved without a shadow of a doubt that the Ascar's can be used in anger, win and put on one hellava show with the other VSR series cars.

The V8 Trophy has joined the VSR grid and along with thier cars an awsome amount of power will be on display at the following venues.
Snetterton X 2, Brands Hatch x 2 and 1 x Pembrey, Croix-en-Ternios, Mallory Park and Lydden plus a special 2 day Event at the Farnbough Air Show.

At Cadwell Colin White's # 78 car was quoted as being the first time a car has been fully airborne at Cadwell Park over the mountain for quite it also proves the Ascar's competitiveness racing on circuits is much more fun than even Colin expected.

Using Hoosier tyres the car has grip a plenty, allows the car to powerslide and is very forgiving whilst giving good rates of tyre wear. Colin had the tyres lit up all the way up the mountain at Cadwell but never felt out of control, Rob Compton said of his run at Cadwell " I just could not believe how much fun it was and how well the cars went around here.

Cars, which are available for around £14,000 converted, are a reliable and easy car to run.
The conversion from oval to circuit racer takes on a number of jobs on the Ascar, engineering the American made chassis to circuit settings has made the V8's move around a circuit more like an OZ V8 than but can be easily changed back to an Oval set up if needed in the future, the aim has been to keep the changes as cost effective as possible but allow them to change back to an Oval set up with no cost at all.

Registration £300 +vat
Race Entry, £250 per meeting
A set of wet tyres £440 +vat
Slick Tyres £125 + vat each, max of 4 per meeting.
100 ltrs of fuel on average with Millers CVL allowed.
Change of oils after every meeting will look after your V8, nobody has had an engine rebuild in the last 3 seasons, Colin's has not been done in 4 years !!!! being restricted to 6500 rpm they are never overstressed and even at 105db they still sound Gorgeous !!!!!

The cars are all the same under the body shell allowing cost effective parts prices, the bodies are of 3 types, Ford, Chevrolet and Pontiac.
