There are many reasons why new drivers choose the Lodge Sports Porsche 924 Championship. The Porsche marque has become a modern icon and the 924 Championship is the only affordable way to race one! The 924 is also rear wheel drive, very well balanced and offers superb handling that most saloon cars can only dream of.
The Championship has built a great reputation for the camaraderie that exists amongst drivers. Friendly help, assistance and encouragement from the Lodge Sports team and other championship drivers is continually on offer. Tight, close racing is always the case at every championship round with often only a few seconds separating the entire field.
For 2007 we have on board Toyo Tyres as control tyre supplier. These tyres have proved quicker in testing with extremely good wear rates and will still cost less than an average standard road tyre! This also means that a brand new set of lap records will be up for grabs for the 2007 drivers!
The Championship calendar is spread throughout the country, taking in some of the UK's best and most exciting circuits.
Championship sponsors, Lodge Sports not only sponsor the series but also carry out 924 race car preparation as well as offering on track tuition in one of their 924 instructor cars.
