Description

New for 2008 Under 2-litre Gentleman Drivers offers a collection of stand alone invitation races for the smaller engine pre-1966 GT cars to Appendix K.

Cars such as the Porsche 911, Lotus Elite, MGB, Alfas and special bodied GTs will now have their own exclusive battles dancing their way through corners at invited events in 2008 trying to recreate the great days of under 2-litre racing from the Marathon de la Route and Tour de France.

Cars must be of a type which competed in the World Endurance Championship in period, to FIA Appendix K and Gentleman Drivers 2008 Regulations. Once on track, drivers are rewarded with some great endurance racing at prestigious circuits across Europe.

Gentleman Drivers is always run on period Dunlop treaded tyres, over a number of classes in a '2 driver with pit stop' format.

The 2008 Season offers Under 2-litre races at Donington, Brands Hatch, Anderstorp, Magny Cours and a season finale to be confirmed, plus a POWERnights event! Plus events at Mugello, Silverstone, Nurburgring and Spa sharing the grid with the larger GTs and sportscars of the Gentleman Drivers GT and Sports Endurance series.
