DescriptionNew GT Race series. Sixteen races over eight race meetings plus first class hospitality. First round has sold out!
Split into three classes the GT Cup caters for cars below GT3 pace and is open only to non 'pro' drivers. Front runners are Porsche 997 and Ferrari 430 Challenge cars with GT4 cars in class three. Ferrari 360GT and Porsche GT3 are a popular choice with BMW, Ginetta, Lotus, Morgan, TVR and Marcos also eligible and represented on the grid. Hospitqlity in the GT Cup is included and social events will be organised at many meetings the majority of which will be two day meetings with Free Practice and Qualifying on day 1 and two sprint races of a mionimume 25 minutes on day 2. Tight regulation will ensure fair racing and a cap on the maximum performance and modification of cars being allowed to enter will keep things close. Grids have filed fast with the first round at Donington being over subscribed two monthe before the race date.
