DescriptionTVR Griffith 500 Race prepared and competition ready.
Having done my first season in the TVR championship and being "bitten", I am going to sell the Griff which has been brilliant all season to make way for something to run in class A for next year. I bought the car from Marc Hockin who originally built it and raced it for three seasons. It has a race spec 5.0 Rover V8 which makes it eligible for class B in the TVR championship. It has been fitted out with stiffened chassis, roll cage, plumbed in fire extinguisher, DL1 datalogger, Laptimer & Cobra racing seat. The car somes with a set of wets and slicks ( two recent front slicks) sitting on compomotive alloys with 2 spare alloys ( 10 wheels in total). A lot of time has been spent preparing and looking after this car over the years and many people in the TVR Challenge know how much time, effort and money has been put into it. I know that over £31k has been spent in simply upgrading it from a road car to a race car. It could be converted back as its SORN, but that would be a waste. . I finished second in my class in my rookie season so it is very competitive in the right hands. I have found it to be a brilliant intro to racing in the series and enough of a challenge for a rookie.
Update ---14th October - I ahevnow purchased an new car for next season so the price has been slashed from 16k to £14k - no offers. It can be viewed in Bristol.
