A rallycross special, full race 2.3litre engine, uprated transmission, unique rear suspension. Double wishbones and coil springs all round. very competitive.
The rear suspension of this car is believed to have originated in a GT6 rallycross special built by Roger Dowson formerly of the Triumph Competition Dept. The engine runs on triple 45mm Webers and pulls like a train. It is matched to a TR gearbox which is as it was when I raced it in Triumph sports car races in a dark blue GT6. The rear axle uses TR6 internals in a limited slip diff and TR6 half shafts. This set up has proved to be reliable. For more information click on the minicross link or contact me, John Pinkney.
