Peugeot 106 Rallye. s1 in bianca white.1300cc set up for track days, sprints and hill climbs.

Peugeot 106 Rallye s1 1995 1300cc.
Reluctantly for sale is my lovely (championship winning) 106 Rallye, it is the original s1 with the 8-valve 1300cc engine.
Set up for sprinting and hill climbing, the car is also ideal for fast road or track day use.
It wouldn't take much to bring it up to group N rally spec, or as stands for endurance rallying or road rallying.
The engine has done 106k and is standard and original on group N engine mounts.
It has a 4-2-1-exhaust manifold through to a race cat and single box 2" bespoke stainless exhaust system.
To help it breath to original air box has a K&N filter and has been drilled. (tested on a rolling road this created more power than an induction kit)
Inside there is a full roll cage with a removable cross bar and a removable side impact door bars.
The drivers seat is a FIA race cobru seat although I do have the or ional seat if required. The driver also has a four-point harness. There is a leather OMP steering wheel.
The brakes have been upgraded with braided hoses, drilled vented disc and fast road/race pads.
The gearshift has been shortened with a quick shift adapter.
The suspension set up is orientated towards the track but could easily be take back to standard road spec or gravel rally spec. It has been lowered all around with stiff springs up front and professionally lowered on the rear (not via the splines). The shocks are Avo adjustables up front and Bilistiens on the rear. The front suspension bushes have all been replaced with either new or polly bushes where available.
Due to road going class regulations the interior has been kept intact.
It sits on 14" S2 Peugeot steelies, also available are 4 13" 205 steelies with the stickiest Bridgestone rubber allowed in the blue book list 1a, these also lower the gearing for quicker acceleration.
The only real downside to this car is that it was a sunroof model and has metal panel in place instead.

It fantastic to drive quickly and embarrasses a lot of bigger engine cars on the track!

It has Mot until Jan 09.
